TRAINING

Relevant training that I bring to your psychoanalytic treatment includes my first personal analysis completed in Brazil, and a second one in Canada (in progress), with experienced Lacanian Psychoanalysts. Alongside my personal analysis, my training consisted of participation in Lacanian reading groups, cartels, seminars and conferences (Lacanian School of Psychoanalysis of Campinas; Nucleus of Research of Nursing, Psychoanalysis and Mental Health (NUPPESM) of the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), São Paulo, Brazil; Brazilian School of Psychoanalysis, Section-São Paulo; Dr. Sonia Gustafson Estrada Gouveia’s reading groups). In Canada, I graduated from the Advanced Training Program of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy offered by the Toronto Psychoanalytic Society and Institute (TPS&I) in partnership with the Department of Psychiatry of the University of Toronto (2013- 2018), which consisted of theoretical seminars and experiential learning, under clinical supervision of clinical cases. I am engaged in on-going professional development by participating in psychoanalytical or mental health scientific events, reading groups, seminars, peer-support supervision with the following institutions, work groups, or colleagues in Canada, Brazil, United States of America and Mexico.
